Shark in the Park 5K

Join the City of Indian Harbour Beach for the 3rd Annual Shark in the Park 5K.

The race will be held at Gleason Park and will benefit the Lupus Foundation of America, Florida Chapter.

The Lupus Foundation of America, Florida Chapter serves the over 100,000 Floridians living with lupus and their loved ones and are the largest lupus organization in the state. They are devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world's cruelest, most unpredictable, and devastating diseases, while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. Team Lupie Groupies has been one of the top fundraisers in the state of Florida, and it's captain, Marta Reidel, has experienced the cruel reality of living life with this disease. Having been through countless hospitalizations and surgeries since her diagnosis in 2001, Marta is now on dialysis and hoping to get a kidney transplant.

Participants receive:  Free breakfast with race entry Race shirt if registered by 6/9/17 Kids fun run after 5K Free Snow Cones Award for the team with the most participation! Award for the FASTEST team! **min of 5 member & must be co-ed. Time Table: Friday June 23rd: Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd)

10am - 6:30pm: Packet Pickup and Registration

Saturday, June 24th: Gleason Park, IHB

6:30am - Packet Pickup & Registration Opens

7:25am - Packet Pickup & Registration Closes

7:30am - 5K Start!
