Sloppy Fools 4-Mile Trail Run

April 01, 2020

The Sloppy Fools 4-Mile Trail Run benefits the Monroe Community College Foundation to support MCC’s Healthy Hero Summer Camp. The Healthy Hero Summer Camp offers academic, professional, and physical development for city school students. Camp activities include basketball, swimming, rope courses, cooperative games, math, literacy, and music education. The program is designed to help reduce summer learning loss in students.

It’s April Fool’s Day so we need to have a little fun! Come join us for a 4 mile race through the trails of Mendon Ponds Park. Since this is Mendon Ponds Park in early spring you can expect to see a good amount of mud. Mud is fun and good for you. Embrace it and run fast. After the race we’ll serve you warm beverages and s’mores to make you happy.

Runners 18 and under can register for just $20.00.

The race will award gift certificates to Medved Running and Walking Outfitters to age-group winners.

The first 100 registered runners will receive a free gender specific Sloppy Fools T-shirt.

We’ll have s’mores and hot chocolate for all the runners after the race!

Course Records:

Male: Jonathan Pinney 27:55.913 – 2019
Female: Kirsten, Nagel 32:56.563 – 2019
Set a new course record and receive a $100 bonus!

We will be hosting packet pickup at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Avenue) on Tuesday, March 31 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We will have packet pickup on race day from 5:00 pm to 5:45. We strongly suggest that you pick up your packet at Medved.
