Smoothie King Fitness 5k & Fun Run

Date & Starting Time:  Saturday, January 13, 2018.  The ½ mile fun run will begin at 7:45 a.m.; Fitness 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m.

 

Location: Cypress Black Bayou Park and Recreation Area located at 135 Cypress Park Dr. Benton, LA 71006   Registration:  Early Registration is $20 through December 31st, $25 January 1st through January 12th, and $30 on race day. 

 

REGISTER EARLY! NO SHIRTS GUARANTEED TO LATE REGISTRANTS!   T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up:  Every pre-registered participant will receive an original short-sleeve “Smoothie King Fitness 5K” t-shirt. Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum on Thursday, January 11th from noon-6:00 p.m. & Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.

 

Awards:  Overall Male and Female finishers in the 5k race will receive a special award.  Additionally, overall age group (male and female) finishers will also receive awards.   Age Groups:  10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

 

Special Note:  Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!

 

Race Day Fun: Celebrate a healthy and happy New Year with the Smoothie King Teams from North Bossier, Mansfield Road and Youree Drive locations. We will be giving away FREE smoothies as well as gift cards and coupons to help you achieve your fitness goals!
