WHO IS SOLE HOPE?
This race seeks to have both a positive economic and awareness impact for Sole Hope, which seeks to offer hope, healthier lives, and freedom from foot-related diseases through education, jobs and medical relief in Uganda. It all started with an encounter with a YouTube video–a video that broke the Founder of Sole Hope’s heart and led them to Uganda. Along the way, they realized they could both help Ugandan children live lives free from jiggers, and they could help Ugandan men and women by teaching them a trade—how to make shoes. And so they began. The organization now has a plan, a vision, and core values. It also has an amazing team of high-energy, crazy folks that love God, people, fun, and making an impact one vulnerable person at a time.
