Southbury Hoof It For Haiti 5K Run & Walk-a-thon

The The Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run for Haiti is a mostly flat, fast, out and back course over Southbury streets and beautiful scenic country roads with gentle/rolling hills. 

This past year our sponsors, through their generosity, have made access to healthcare in Grand Boulage even more of a reality!! In February of 2019; in partnership with Medicines for Humanity, the first permanent, fixed site clinic opened to serve the population on a more consistent basis. Funds raised in this annual race will support the doctors and nurses that will serve in this clinic, as well as help train more community health agents to sustain health education and care in this rural village.  Seeds of Hope for Haiti also depends on generous donations to continue to pay for teachers' salaries, textbooks, the school canteen and other classroom supplies in the primary and secondary school there. We are extremely grateful for your on-going commitment to the people of our twin parish in Haiti!  Your help is definitely needed to continue this great mission; as we grow and expand our outreach to Grand Boulage.
