About the event
The 7th annual Sozo Children 5K is planned for Saturday, April 7th 2018. The theme of this event is "Run for a Reason." 100% of the proceeds raised will be used to support the mission of Sozo Children in Uganda, East Africa.
The race is a 5k through the heart of Avondale. It incorporates thriving 41st Street, Avondale Park, food trucks and vendors. This event is a fun, family friendly experience: runners & walkers of all ages, strollers and dogs are welcome.
April 7th, 2018 8:00 am - Runner Packet Pickup 9:00 am - 5K begins 10:00 am - Awards 10:30 am - Sozo Children's Choir performance**Please visit www.sozochildren.org/runforareason/ for more information and to sign up. Registrations will be processed on Sozo's website, so no need to register on RunSignUp as well.
