Spring Into Color

April 04, 2020 Postponed # 12

Join us on Saturday, April 4 for the inaugural United Way Spring Into Color 5K Fun Color Run! This fun 5K will be part of Oroville’s 12th Annual Wildflower and Nature Festival. The festival shines a spotlight on local beauty and centers on the nature of Butte County. We are excited to be a part of this long-standing event.

Who We Are
United Way of Northern California (UWNC) is one of 1,200 local United Ways in the United States and among 1,800 globally. Each United Way is governed by a local volunteer board and operates autonomously.
Our local United Way began in 1953 and currently serves a nine-county area: Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties.

Our Mission
Our mission is to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.

We do this by working in close collaboration with non-profit partners, government agencies and the business community to advocate, support and deliver programs and resources that help improve lives.

Funds raised remain local and support the following:

Disaster relief and case management
School supplies to low income students, youth programs
Covered California enrollment
Opioid awareness & education
Greater tax refunds through our VITA Program
Grants to other agencies that fall under our mission
