Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon

Join us on Saturday, October 21, for the Inaugural Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon at Rockland Lake State Park, featuring a scenic, flat and fast 2.9 mile loop around the lake. The perfect “PR” race!

8:30 AM start. USATF certified course and sanctioned event.

Sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in cooperation with the New York State Parks System.

Bag check, aid stations every mile, free T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by October 6), medals for all finishers, and our famous post-race pancake breakfast!

For participants registered after October 6, remaining T-Shirts will be available after the race on a first-come first-serve basis.

POST-RACE PANCAKE BREAKFAST!

Hot pancakes are even more enjoyable after you’ve run a race, and we’re cooking them up fresh for everyone on race day! (yes, of course they're free!)

TIME LIMITS:

All participants have until 11:45 AM (3 hrs 15 minutes) to finish the race (minimum average pace of 15 min/mile).

AGE RESTRICTIONS:

All participants must be 16 or older to compete.

REGISTRATION AND FEES:

We strongly recommend pre-registering for this event, race-day registration may not be available.

Register Online through RedPodium or Active. Processing fee applies, RedPodium has lowest fee.
Register by mail: Entry must be postmarked NO LATER than Friday, October 6 to be accepted.

Early registration: $40 through Friday, October 6 (online or by mail)
Late registration: $50 through Thursday, October 19, 5:00 PM (online only)
Race-day registration, IF AVAILABLE: $60, 7:15-8:00 AM on race-day. Cash, check, money order ONLY. (Sorry, no credit cards). Please check our race webpage on October 19 to see if race-day registration will be offered.

Entries cannot be transferred to another person.

RACE NUMBER PICKUP:

Number pickup will be on race day only, between 7:15-8:15 AM

DIRECTIONS:

Please familiarize yourself with the map and directions on our race website before race day, we don’t want you to get lost!
There is a medium size parking lot - Parking Field 5 - right next to the race staging area. If that lot is full, then travel 1/2 mile south to Parking Field 4 (follow signs for “Bathhouse”). Allow 10 min to walk back to the race staging area.
IMPORTANT: you must enter any parking lot inside the park BEFORE 8AM, otherwise you will be charged the $8 NYS Parks imposed vehicle fee.
