Steps for ChangePDX

Who We Are: 

Friends of the Children-Portland pairs the highest priority youth in our community with a paid, professional mentor from kindergarten through high school graduation - at least 12.5 years, no matter what. 

Steps for ChangePDX:

On July 17, we will walk for our youth and honor this 12.5-year commitment. Steps for ChangePDX, our first Virtual Walk/Run fundraising event, is a celebration of our youth and a challenge to create change - small changes that support each child, and big changes that create access to opportunities and build hope for all children. Join us by getting up, getting active, and giving back!  Whether it's walking, running, biking, or skipping, we want our community to get off the screen and get active!

Register for Steps for ChangePDX by June 21 to receive your event shirt before July 17. Folks who register after June 21 will receive their shirt after the event.

How It Works:

Sign up for a 12.5K, 5K, or 1 mile event. On Saturday, July 17, choose one of our routes (or set your own) and track your progress to your target distance. Registrants will receive a Steps for ChangePDX t-shirt, a curated event playlist, and suggested routes for the big day. Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win an exciting prize!
