Vincent Kibor Raimoi finished first in 01:00:10. Jairus Kipchoge Birech earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:00:33. Rounding out the top three was Paul Tiongik with a time of 01:02:07. For the women, Priscah Jeptoo took top spot in 01:08:27 , ahead of Meseret Dinke Meleka (01:10:39). The third place went to Lucy Wambui Murigi with a time of 01:11:45

Frederick Oncocke Moronga finished the half marathon first in 01:01:20. Coming in second was Aziz Mustapha El (01:01:29). The third place went to Simon Kiruthi Muthoni with a time of 01:01:34 For the women, Ruth Chepngetich got a win, finishing with a time of 01:07:42 . Results: Wangari misses world record by less than a minute in Milan

Half Marathon results Of more than 6,000 participants in the 45th Stramilano Half Marathon, James Mwanji Wangari (59:12) was the only one to finish the IAAF run in northern Italy in under an hour. His mark of 59:12 was good for seventh all-time in the world. In a close race for second, Paul Kariuki Mwangi (1:01:31) finished just ahead of Amos
