Strawberry Sprint 5K

As part of the 2nd Cicero’s Triathlon Weekend, Heartland Endurance Sports is hosting an all-ages 5K Run that will take place just before K3 Cicero Youth Triathlon. This chip-timed, USA Track and Field sanctioned race will start at Cicero’s Red Bridge Park, and travel through rolling residential streets, before returning to the picturesque little park by the lake. All athletes will receive a t-shirt, collectible bib number, and a finisher’s medal.

After the 5K, be sure to stick around, watch the K3 Cicero Youth Triathlon and eat some strawberry shortcake. Yep, strawberry shortcake! You just ran a 5K? You’re hungry? You bet you are! When registering, be sure to sign up for the strawberry shortcake after the run, because you deserve it!

The proceeds from this event will benefit Hamilton North Chamber of Commerce.

Packet Pickup: An email will be sent when packet pickup information is finalized. Please make all efforts to pick up your packet at this time. An email with packet pickup directions/location will be sent when plans for this are finalized.

Race Day: We will be onsite by 6:30am for packet and chip pickup, as well as race day registration. To ensure we can start the race on time, please plan to be onsite at least an hour prior to race to pick up your timing chip. Please note, we may not be able to allow registrations within 45 minutes of the race starting, or check in within 30 minutes of the race start. Check-in will be at the blue tent near the finish line.

Parking: The park has parking available for about 150 cars. Should the parking lot become full, you will be directed where to park.
