MAY is Mental Health month & National Running month!
At STRIDE 5th Street Indoor Running Studio, we are obviously really into running. We are also very passionate about supporting organizations and programs that not only help raise awareness around mental health, but actually advocate for those suffering with mental illness.
We thought to ourselves what better way to celebrate both than by using something we love to raise money for something we love, and the 5th Street Mental Miles Challenge was born! We are challenging any and everyone, no matter where you live, to run and/or walk and raise money for mental health from May 1 – May 31.
It’s only $5 to register and there will be extremely cool prizes for whoever logs the most miles and raises the most money. There is no better time than now for this challenge especially with the isolation many have endured due to COVID.
