Sunset Fun Run with Chuck 5K

When: Saturday, October 6, 2018. 

Start Time: 6:00 p.m .

Race Venue: Clermont's Waterfront Park, 330 3rd. Street - "World Triathlon Destination" 

Directions: Clermont is located 20 minutes west of Orlando at the intersection of US HWY 27 and State Road 50. From State Road 50 in Clermont, take East Avenue north one mile to Palm Avenue and the entrance to Waterfront Park. Waterfront Park is on the southern shores of Lake Minneola. 

Course: The 5K run course is out and back on the South Lake Trail. 

Eligibility: This is a family friendly event open to everyone. 

Amenities: Really cool Finisher Medal, colorful t-shirt, post-race food from Chick-fil-A, accurately measured and well monitored course. Registering by September 24, 2018, ensures proper t-shirt size.

Charity: A portion of each entry fee paid benefits the Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, a non-profit foundation whose sole mission is to provide victims of domestic violence alternatives to abuse or life-threatening situations, and empowerment to establish a violence-free life. 100% of proceeds from the event will go to the Haven and will be used to help build a pet shelter for the animals of victims staying in the shelter.

Friday - 10/5/2018 at  3:00PM - 5Pm at Clermont Police Department, 3600 South Hwy 27, Clermont, FL 34711.

Saturday - 10/6/2018 from 4pm - 5:30pm at Waterfront Park, 100 3rd Street, Clermont, FL  34711
