Superhero 5K - Brunswick

Be a hero for kids with special needs!Woodfords Family Services is hosting the Superhero 5K on Saturday,June 4,2016,at 10 a.m.,in Brunswick,ME.The course is USATF-certified(ME09002RF).The first 200 registrants will receive a race T-shirt.Held rain or shine,registration will open at 9 a.m.This event is family,stroller and dog-friendly.Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the Adult and Youth categories.Prizes will also be awarded for best costumes and to everyone who beats the villain across the finish line.Register at Active.com.Registration fees are $20 for Adults,$10 for Youth and Children 7 and under are FREE!Walk-ins will be accepted on race day- the Adult registration fee will change to $25.Proceeds from the event will benefit Woodfords'three therapeutic preschools located in Oakland,Topsham and Westbrook.Children enrolled at Woodfords'preschools are living with autism,developmental disabilities,intellectual disabilities,mental health issues and/or other special needs.FMI visit woodfords.org or call(207)878-9663,x 4109.
