Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum 5K Run/Walk

The SVDM 5K Run/Walk will take place at the Third Battlefield of Winchester. Run or walk throughout one of the most historic battlefields of the area. The course is set within the beautiful landscape of the Shenandoah Valley ranging from an amazing natural canopy of trees to rolling open fields. This course is perfect for first time 5K runners or runners trying to beat their personal record! Medals will be awarded to the top three runners of each age level (ages 10-70).

A Kids Dash of 100 yards will also be set up for runners age 4-9, with awards going to the top three of each age level (4-5, 6-7, 8-9). A Family Zone nearby will include hands-on activities that encourage healthy living, and a chance to make a pledge as a family to #LiveHealthy!

All of the proceeds will go back to the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum to benefit their vast amounts of educational programs and activities for children and families. Come run with us!
