Sweat out the Doubt Charity Run

Mind/Matter Athlete is looking forward to hosting our 3rd annual charity run Saturday, Nov. 16th. The Mind/Matter Athlete mantra is, "the body achieves what the mind believes" and the charity we have partnered with this year, CATAPULT, embodies it everyday. CATAPULT is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that aims to CATAPULT physically challenged individuals over adversity and into the world of endurance sports and athletics. Their mission is to "turn disabilities into capabilities in the world of endurance sports." You can learn more about their mission on their website www.teamcatapult.org. We cannot wait to donate all of the net proceeds from SWEAT OUT THE DOUBT 2019 to CATAPULT again.

The SWEAT OUT THE DOUBT event is a 5k and 10k run/walk that will start at Stude Park, 1031 Stude St. Houston, TX 77007, and run along the White Oak Bayou Greenway Trail. 

Time:

8 am - 10k 8:15 am - 5k 8:45 am - Walk/Strollers/Kids 

Timing:

This is a chip timed race.

Results for this event will be available after you finish.

1st Place Overall Male and Female will receive a Mind/Matter Racing singlet, Mind/Matter Racing hat and Mind/Matter water bottle  1st Place Age Group Male and Female will receive a Mind/Matter Racing hat and Mind/Matter water bottle 2nd and 3rd Place Age Group will receive a Mind/Matter water bottle

Post Race: Free food will be provided along with free beer from 11 Below Brewing

The registration for the 5k will be $35 and the 10k will be $50.  All participants will receive a shirt, koozie, water, beer and post race food.

We will also have a Virtual Run option for $35, so people outside the Houston area can participate and donate. Your shirt and koozie will be mailed to you before the race (depending on when you sign up) so you can wear the shirt during your run and tag #sweatoutthedoubt2019 and #teamcatapult on social media. 

Packet pick up will be Friday, November 15th at Manready Mercantile - 321 W 19th Street, Unit B, Houston, TX 77008 from 12PM to 5PM. There will also be an option for packet pick up the morning of the run for $5 more between 7am and 7:30 am.
