This year, the TUDC is going virtual with a month-long cumulative mileage challenge. During the month of December, you can make your way virtually from Weeki Wachee Springs back to Wakulla Springs.
You’ll have the entire month of December to work towards your choice:
The entire “Spring to Spring Challenge” distance of 200 miles (an average of almost 6.5 miles per day)The “Half Springs Challenge” of 100 miles (average about 3.25 miles a day)
As you complete your miles, you’ll log your daily distance in RunSignup. Choose your personal strategy for completing your challenge: any mix of running, walking, hiking, or rucking counts, just so long as you’re on your own two feet.
While no awards will be given (other than your own personal glory for taking on such an epic challenge), you can choose high-quality swag to commemorate your achievement: premium Patagonia technical shirts and Hoo Rags, both featuring a custom design unique to this year’s event. We anticipate that swag will be available by early January and will be mailed to any participants not in Tallahassee. Orders will end November 30th, so don’t miss out!
Registration is $15 and closes on December 15th. GWTC members will receive an automatic $5 discount.
Though the race will not be held physically at beautiful Wakulla Springs this year, we’re excited to share proceeds from the race with the Friends of Wakulla Springs. Additional donations are always appreciated.
