Team Lonati 5K

Join us to help raise blood cancer awareness with all proceeds going to a local non-profit organization called TeamMaggie. A member of our DCG family, Michelle Lonati (Class of 2020) was given the diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma on Monday, June 11, 2018. Her treatment plan included chemotherapy, which has a potential for causing infertility. Michelle made the decision to preserve her eggs due to chemotherapy's potential of causing infertility. Insurance did not cover this procedure because they don’t consider it medically necessary. These costs of these expensive accumulate quickly especially during a period with visits with many different specialists. Team Maggie helps those going through this by giving out very generous scholarships (often around $2500) to cover these procedures.
