The Andrea Rose Teodosio Memorial 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk

Save the date for the 12th Annual Andrea Rose Teodosio Memorial 5k Run/1-mile walk on Saturday, July 8, 2023, and help us as we celebrate the life of Andrea on what would have been her 35th birthday! The day will kick off with a 5K run/walk then an after-party at Missing Mountain Brewery located at 2811 Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls. And, new this year!  Any runner who breaks the course record will receive 50 dollars in cash!  So, come on out and show us your personal best!

Andrea was a bright, energetic, and motivated young woman of twenty-two when her life was lost in a skiing accident at Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia. Despite this tragic loss, the spirit of Andrea’s love of life, caring for others -particularly the elderly and children- and kindness, lives on through the efforts of The Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation. 

Listed in Akron Life Magazine as one of the best 5K events in the Akron area, this run or walk has been built on the tradition of community support. This family-friendly flat course that runs through Downtown Akron allows participants to enjoy the route along Main Street to the Lock 3 Towpath.  

The Andrea Rose Teodosio 5K is proud to be one of the "Akron Promise" City Series. Akron Promise has introduced the “City Series” to promote the health, and exploration of our city, and to support the various organizations that participate. Medals will be awarded to people who participate in at least four of the events.
