About the event
The Bad Thing trail race is the ONLY point to point trail race in Ontario. It takes place in Huron County, Ontario along the stunning Maitland Trail.
The race consists mainly of single track, highly technical trail with a small amount of road and groomed trail along the way. Participants should be prepared for highly technical, potentially muddy, tough terrain. This race is not for inexperienced trail runners.
**Minimum age for participants is 18 years old.

As one of the organizers and part of the Race Huron team I might be a little biased :). Gotta say this is a kick-ass race though. I’ve run the 25k once and the 50k twice and thoroughly enjoyed both. We try and keep the race capped at 200 runners as this keeps the before and after race more intimate. Just wanna note that Square Brew is our beer sponsor now and not Cowbell as previously stated.
