In light of the recent COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak and Governor Murphy's recommendation to cancel all events over 250 people, The Blue Mile Run will not be held as scheduled. The health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, partners, staff, and spectators is our primary concern during this time.

A decision will be made shortly on the future of this year's race and the options our participants will have moving forward. We share your disappointment and appreciate your patience as we work through this unique situation.

The Blue Mile Event is a fundraiser for the annual Police Unity Tour to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty, honor their sacrifices and to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial. Each year since 1997 riders make a four day fund-raising bicycle ride journey from New Jersey and elsewhere to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Police Unity Tour has grown to nearly 2500 members nationwide who make the trip annually raising over $2,600,000. “WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED” 

This event is a 1-mile fun run where runners (21 & over) drink a beer before each 1/4 mile.  Participants receive a commemorative cup which serves as their entry ticket to the after party at Reef and Barrel.  Family Friendly AFTER PARTY 11:30 am - 3 pm. Musical Performance by the Mail Order Bride Band. Drink Specials, DJ, Kids Run, Raffles and more! A $25 donation for participants. Kids (under 21) are free!
