40th Annual Camelback Run

Be a part of the tradition! The Fremont Elite Runner’s Club is once again proud to sponsor one of the area’s finest road races! The 40th Annual Camelback Run will once again feature a challenging 10K race as well as a 5K race and 2K and 1/4 Mile Youth Races. Selected as the RRCA Ohio State championship 10K for the second consecutive year.

Both 10K & 5K courses run through downtown Fremont. The 10K is known for its challenging hills, which will take you over the "Camelback Bridge" and through Ballville township.The 5K will go through Roger Young Park, where at the end you will join the 10K runners again. 

Both 10K & 5K courses are USATF certified. 

Highlights Awards to the overall Male & Female runners, overall Masters plus Grand Masters for the 10K, and top 3 runners in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. State championship awards to overalls in 10K Quality race shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered participants (Adult sizes only for 10K and 5K) Youth 2K (ages 12 and under) and Camel Calves 1/4 Mile (ages 7 and under)- includes Youth size race shirt only to participants pre-registered by 6/1/2018. Awards are given to the Top Male and Female Finishers in the 2k. Finishers awards to all other kids event participants! Schedule of Events
