Zion's Family Ministry and Children's Ministry (Xtreme Kidz) are partnering together for Zion's very first 5K/Fun Run to get families engaged in an event that will not only promote physical activity and family fun but also allows children to live out what they are learning in Xtreme Kidz.

For the entire month of May, our Big Idea was Commitment--Making a plan and putting it into practice! God keeps all his promises and puts His plans into action. The Good News is that because God has followed through on those plans, we get the chance to be with God forever!

We reflect on God's commitment to us when we can make a plan and stick to it. All month long we will help kids discover that one of the best plans they can make is to commit to an ongoing relationship with Jesus. Commit to practicing faith by reading God's Word, praying to Him consistently, talking about Him with friends, and living out that faith every day. Running a 5K/Fun Run is a great way for kids to see commitment lived out in their everyday lives by sticking to their plan even when it gets challenging.
