About the event

The Giving Trail 5 and 10K is a cross country run through the foothills of the Sierra's and the Historic town of Raymond, CA.  The run is at approximately 1,000ft elevation with gentle slopes and a well defined trail.  You will have the opportunity  to dedicate the run to honor a loved one. The proceeds go to Doc's Dogs For Vets for the training of service dogs for veterans and future kennel facilities.  Fee includes entry into event, shirt and breakfast. 

Special pricing for children 12 and under will automatically be applied during sign-up.

DIRECTIONS TO THE GIVING TRAIL MEMORIAL 10K RUN/WALK
Note: GPS/Phone coverage do not work in the hills. Print and bring map/directions with you, follow the "Parking" signs once in Raymond!!!!!!

FROM FRESNO/OAKHURST VIA HWY 41
From Hwy 41, take Road 415 in Coarsegold. Follow Road 415 to Raymond (approx 13.5 miles). Road 415 will
run into Road 600 at approximately 11 miles from Hwy 41. Once you pass the Raymond Church, turn right onto
Road 613. Stay on Road 613 for approximately 1.5 miles. At the very sharp curve on the 613 Road, take a left
turn onto Longhorn Rd, you are on a dirt road now. You'll pass a cattle guard and mail boxes, and then another
cattle guard .4 mile after the first one, turn right onto Olive Orchard Road, pass Hereford Ct. (just over 1/2
mile from Rd 613) at Brahman Ct turn right ( approx. 1 mile from Rd. 613), cross the cattle guard and turn right
at the second driveway just before the yellow house on top of the hill, you are there!

From Madera
From East Cleveland Ave - Take the Raymond Road (River Rd/Rd 400) for 16 miles, turn left at Road 603 just
before you get to Hensley Lake, continue on Rd 603 for 3.5 miles, turn right at the intersection of Road 600,
stay on 600 for approximately 6 miles. Follow directions in the Town of Raymond below
Once in the Town of Raymond you will pass the Raymond-Knowles School, the general store, turn left onto
Road 613. Stay on Road 613 for approximately 1.5 miles. At the very sharp turn on the 613 Road, take a left
turn onto Longhorn, you are on a dirt road now. You'll pass a cattle guard and mail boxes, and then another
cattle guard .4 mile after the first one, turn right onto Olive Orchard Road, pass Hereford Ct. (just over 1/2

From Chowchilla
Take the Robertson 233 exit to Ave 26 go east for 12 miles toward Eastman Lake/Hensley Lake, at the stop sign
(Rd 29) turn right for 1/2 mile, then left at the sharp turn. You are on Daulton Road (Rd 603) follow for 2 miles.
You will come to 603/602 intersection after a very sharp curve, turn left at the stop sign (green sign reads
Madera 13 right arrow, Hensley Lake 5, Raymond 10 left arrow). Follow 603 for another 3.5 miles to the stop
sign. Turn left on Rd 600 to Raymond for 6 miles or so.
Once in the Town of Raymond you will pass the Raymond-Knowles School, the general store, turn left to Road
