The Great Pug Run 5k

Join us for the 4th Annual GREAT PUG RUN 5K which for 2020 will be a VIRTUAL EVENT due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We want to do our part to keep our community, runners/walkers, supporters and pugs safe.

HOW DOES A VIRTUAL RACE WORK?

The great thing about a virtual race is that you can complete your 5K (3.1 miles) on your own schedule, on your own time and on your own course.  We just ask that you complete your 5K by Saturday, September 19th.  You don't even need to submit proof, we are employing the honor system!  So if you have friends, family or "Pug lovers" who live anywhere in the United States they could participate.  If you want you'll have access to a digital online bib that you can download, print off and share on social media.

Our race benefits the Bluegrass Pug Rescue (www.bluegrasspugrescue.org) and features commemorative race T-shirt for all who register by September 9th.

PACKET PICKUP  Thanks Feeders Supply for hosting our drive thru/curbside packet pickup Friday, 9/18/20 from 4-6pm. Their address is 3080 Richmond Rd, Lexington, KY 40509  Come get your packet and you'll be entered in a special raffle for a gift basket! Only those picking up on Friday will be entered in the drawing.  You are permitted to pickup for family/friends and no credentials or paperwork/ID are necessary.

Guarantee your race shirt size by registering by September 9th.  Our commemorative race shirts are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.  When you register and get to the giveaway section you'll see what sizes we have left.  If your size is not available you can either choose another size or select one of the "No shirt" options 

We have activated our REFERRAL REWARDS PROGRAM for this race.  Using your unique registration browser link (That you receive in your registration confirmation email) if you get 3 others to register using that link we'll refund you $10 on your original registration.  It pays to talk up the race and "Run with the Pugs"!
