The Green Monster 12 Hour Endurance Race

The Green Monster is a fun, fast and social Ultra endurance race.  It's going to take place on the 1.7 Mile Green Loop off-road trail at Anglers Park.  Designed to be a test of endurance but also a great introduction to the Ultra running world!  The race will be basically as many laps as possible in the 12 hour time period.  Runners can run as fast as they want, as long as they want and quit whenever they want without a getting a DNF.  There will be a tailgate area where runners will provide their on support (chairs, clothing, food, supplies etc..) for them to use as needed throughout the event.  Heated bathrooms will be on site as well as a generic aid station with great snacks and hydration, music as well as two massage therapist to help work the kinks out during the event.  This event will be chip timed and your laps counted every time you come through the finish line.  There will be a leaderboard that will be updated periodically throughout the race showing where runners rank.  Top Male and Female who run the most laps in 12 hours will be crowned winners.  Also there will be medals for runners who hit the 13.1, 26.2, 50K and 100K mile marks.  Collect all 4 if you can!  There will be awesome bibs and shirts in swag bags that will be given out at packet pickup.  You can expect the Green Monster to be a fun filled yet tremendous challenge so the training begins now!
