The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will partner with the City of North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand Running Club to host the fourth annual “Run for the Shelter” 5k and 1 mile Dog Walk. In addition, we will be combining this event with The Doggie Bone Hunt which is a twist on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Bones are hidden around the park and pet parents must collect as many bones as possible before their canine companions consume the bones.

Race Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration: 7:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. on the morning of the race at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -Sandhills Bank Amphitheater
Fees: $25 until March 31, $30 on Race Day
T-Shirts: Available to participants registered by Monday, March 27, 2017
Awards: 5k Top 3 Male & Female, Top 3 Male and Female in each age group

Walk Start Time: 11:00 a.m.
Check In and T-Shirt Pickup: 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -McLeod Seacost Meadow across from the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater.
Fee: $15
