Students, Parents, Alumni, and Friends of all ages, please join us for the 3rd annual ONE RUN 5K and raise money for your school!
The course is a flat and scenic tour of Battery Park City along the Hudson starting at Wagner Park. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate to walk or run the 5 Kilometers. T-shirts and snacks will be provided as well as prizes for top male and female finishers in several divisions. This community building event includes seven amazing NYC Public Schools.
Registration is $15 for students and $20 for adults.

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE
Sunday, October 20th, 2019
7:45 am: Volunteers arrive
8:15 am: Check-in and bib pick up opens
8:50 am: All participants to the Start Line
9:00 am: 5K Run/Walk Begins!
10:30 am: Winners announced
Entries close at 8:00pm on Saturday, October 19th, (or earlier if race is full).
Student Registration (up to age 18 as of race day): $15
Adult Registration (over 18 as of race day): $20
Entries are limited to 500 walkers/runners. Please enter early. Pre-registration is required.
Note: RACE MAY BE FULL AND CLOSED TO ENTRIES BEFORE RACE DAY. Please do not count on day-of registration availability. DAY-OF REGISTRATION WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE IF there are still slots open. Day-of registration will be $25/person.
Net proceeds benefit the PA or PTA of participating schools. Entry fees do not include processing & service charges.
All runners must check in at the start line on Saturday morning, 8:15-8:55 am. Numbers, timing chips, t-shirts, and race instructions will be issued. If you check in later, you may miss the race!
Course is approximately 5 Kilometers. Start at Wagner Plaza, north along the Hudson River Greenway to Stuyvesant High School and back.

Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in the following age groups:
13 years and under, 14-15, 16-20, 21-39, 40+
Awards will be presented at approximately 10:30 am. If you are not in the finish area when winners are announced, your prize will be given to the next finisher in your division ranked by chip time.
Please stay to the right while on the race course (just like driving on the road), and look for our volunteers along the course
There will not be a bag check, we encourage you to leave valuables at home as we cannot take responsibility for damaged or lost items
As we are not a USATF certified 5K, our course runs just short of 5K due to permit restrictions.
T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrations before Oct. 10th. We will do our best to match your shirt size but cannot guarantee exact size requested.

Volunteer opportunities are available for our race for both parents and students. High school students, we are happy to sign for service hours or provide letters of reference. Please check in with race directors at the end of the beginning and end of the race. If you’d like to volunteer, please sign up by October 15th.
We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:
Race Guides (13 years and older). Will help guide participants through the course.
Race Guide Coordinators (14 years and older). Must be able to volunteer the evening of 10/19 and help set up the course, and be willing to direct other volunteers.
Check-in Helpers (adults only). Will help distribute bibs and check participants in.
