About the event
The Purpose: All the proceeds of this 5K will go towards the Liberty House, a non-profit organization that assists homeless veterans, and other charities for veterans.
The Ruck: The 5K will be ran/walked on the streets of downtown Erie. It will begin and end near the parking lot of the Gannon University Recreation Center on 4th Street. Participants will carry a backpack/rucksack filled with donation supplies. Donation Supplies include: laundry detergent, trash bags, sheets, paper towels, blankets, washcloths, towels, deodorant, etc. After completing the 5K, participants will donate the contents of their backpack/rucksack.
