The Prowling Cougar Mile and 5k Run/Walk

The Prowling Cougar is an intense road and trail race at beautiful Brighton Recreation Area. The race is to help support two great causes. First, we support a local charity selected by the cross country team and second to support the Men’s and Women's Cleary Cougar Cross Country teams.

All three courses start and finish overlooking beautiful Bishop Lake. The mile is a fun run/walk for kids and adults.It runs almost entirely along the side of the lake on a 10’ wide dirt path. The 5K will take you on a beautiful tour of the park running you through the rustic campgrounds on a 2 track, through the woods on the dirt park road and single track hiking trail. It is a beautiful and challenging course with lots of things to see and plenty of hills to test you. The 10K is a double loop of the 5K course.

10k note - if we don't have 25 entrants we will not have the 10k and the runners will be put in the 5k. Fee is non-refundable
