The Truffle Shuffle

The Race will start at the historic building of Rocca Di Aries, the medival home of a bad ass general Andrea Fortebraccio who was a big deal in the 1400s and pretty much everything in Montone is named after him. You will run on a trail which starts on the top of one of the valley ridges at 1600 feet, cutting through the valley, dropping to a 900 foot elevation, and finishing back up in Montone. You will understand why we called the run a 'shuffle`! So, its up to you...come and compete against a friend or shuffle along with family. Take advantage of the wine stations, and take the kids along for the ride...

Yup, you read it right. Along the 8km race there will be water stations also offering local Umbrian wine for those who fancy a tipple on route.

At the finish line at the foot of Montone village, participants will recieve a slice of pizza and a glass of wine (and water) to celebrate their accomplishment.
