Tiger Trails 5k and Fun Run

Break the monotony of the road and join us for a morning of Cross Country-style running on the course used by Palmetto High School's XC team!  The course is a grassy double loop with a total of less than 300m of pavement.  Experienced 5k runners will enjoy the course and novices should not be scared away if they can handle the 5k distance.  It is a nice, open course with no massive hills or highly technical sections that only a mountain goat can navigate.  The trail is well marked and volunteers will be directing traffic so it is almost impossible to get lost.

There will also be a 1mi Fun Run/Walk for those who would prefer not to do the full 5k or just want to go for a stroll while supporting a good cause.

5k runners can choose to register as individuals or as members of a team.  Team scores will be calculated based on each team's top 5 finishers.  Team registration comes at no extra cost and members are eligible for individual awards, as well as the team trophy.

The 1mi Fun Run/Walk will take place on the Cross Country course after the 5k is completed.  Official times will not be recorded for the Fun Run but the race clock will be running for those who want to capture their own times.  5k participants do not need to register for the Fun Run if they want to join family and friends for the second race.

Strollers will not be permitted in either race, due to the irregular surfaces typical of all quality Cross Country-style courses.
