Tour de Force Charity Run

The Tour De Force Charity was started in 2002 by two N.Y.C. Detectives to raise money for the victims of the September 2001 Terrorists Attacks. Since then we have been having an annual bicycle ride from either N.Y.C to Boston or from Boston to N.Y.C. to raise money for the families of police officers killed in the line of duty nationwide. On 9-11-15 our bicycle ride started in N.Y.C.and concluded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on 9-14-15. We raised $505,000.00 nationally for our cause and our local North country bicycle group the Adirondack GARDA raised over 60,000.00 dollars in Clinton County New York.

The Tour De Force Charity will be sponsoring a Half Marathon, 10k .5k run one mile walk on 08/21/16 at the Point Au Roche State Park located at 19 Camp Red Cloud Road in Plattsburgh, N.Y.12901.

The Half Marathon will start at 8:00AM, the 10k at 8:15AM and the 5K at 8:30AM and the one mile walk at 8:45AM.This will be an out and back course which will start in the Point Au Roche State Park, Take a right upon exiting the park and 500 yards to the Lake Shore Road which will be on your left. You will continue up the Lake Shore Road and all three races will turn around on the Lake Shore Road at different points based on what run you are doing.

Packet Pick Up will be on Saturday August 20th at Fleet Feet Sports located at 45 Smithfield Blvd in Plattsburgh N.Y. 12901 between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Race day registration will be between 6:00AM and 7:15AM at the Point Au RocheState Park. Runners who have pre-registered will also be able to pick up their race packets on that day also. Included in the pack pick up will be your race Bib, timing chip, food ticket, promotional discounts and a Tech Shirt from Jolly Good Promotional Products in Plattsburgh, N.Y. 12901. All finishers will receive a Finishers Medal from Jolly Good Promotional Products also.
