She Dreams Again is a 501c3 that began in January 2019 with a mission to provide long-term transitional housing and programs for trafficked women in Madison and Union County of Ohio to restore their hearts and reclaim their lives by teaching them life skills and equip them with resources needed to be independent. Funds raised from this event will go towards the purchase of a transitional home.
The 1st Trails to End Trafficking takes place on Saturday, October 5 at the Coneflower Trail at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. The Coneflower Trail, 2.5 miles, is a moderate to difficult hiking trail on grass and dirt. The trail crosses two steep hills, goes through prairies, and runs alongside Big Darby Creek. At this time we have been unable to secure timing results, but are on backup list and will update if we are able to secure this feature. Each racer will receive a “passport” about a trafficked person with their story and will be able to see what has happened to their person at the end of the race.
The Post-Race Award Ceremony will begin immediately following the race. Awards will be given in the following divisions:
· Top 3 Overall Finishers
· A goodie bag and free t-shirt are included in the Trails to End Trafficking registrations only, and will not be guaranteed if registering after September 13th.
Create a team and raise funds to donate to help restore a heart of a trafficked woman.
