This is a very beautiful ultra marathon, sadly the organisation of the race seems to get a little worse each year. They often run out of water, so carry what you can with you. The route is incredible though and if you are prepared, can make up for the disappointing organisation.

This race has a half marathon and an ultra (as well as trail runs and fun runs the day before the main events). The half marathon route is OK, nothing too special and no oceans to be seen. The ultra marathon is the one with the amazing views.

Absolutely stunning route and cheerful crowds, especially on the uphills towards the end of the route. Great organization at the start and along the route. Not too crowded after the first 1-3kms.

Called 'the most beautiful race in the world' but not when the course gets changed the day before the race. Quite a dissapointment but the organisation ruled out of safety. The course is tough, expect two major hills that feel like they last forever. If you are a fast runner you'll have a good time. If you run slower I heard stories about lack of water or aid stations that were 'sold out'. The organisation isn't the best in communicating/sharing information. Please expect to ask a lot of questions. I still enjoyed the race as the atmosphere at the start, during the race and finish is unique. The medal was one of the coolest I ever got.
