Two Rivers Marathon is a qualifier and a trainingmarathon for Dutch (and other European) participants of Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town on Easter Saturday. Instead of two oceans this marathon touches two rivers in the beautiful Bommelerwaard region. Not only a qualifier for Two Oceans, also other runners are more than welcome!

Wouter Decock outpaced more then 370 runners to win in 02:37:49. He bested Joris Spigt who crossed the finish line 9 minutes 11 secondes behind him. Finishing third was Stijn Smulders (02:48:31).
In the women’s race, Janicke Brathe took top spot in 03:17:53 . She finished une minute 11 secondes ahead of Debby Gabriels. While Karin Verheijden came in third at 03:26:59
