Upland Hills School - Over the Hills and Through the Woods 5k/10k/Fun Run

Upland Hills Trail Run is a beautiful course with lots of support (marshals, aid stations and course markings) making it a great race for those new to trail running, while experienced trail runners will relish the challenge of the hills and the variety of scenery.  This is a fantastic event for families, with something for all ages and ability levels to enjoy.

We, the children of Upland Hills School, are putting on this race to support our Share the Adventure program.  We have a high ropes course (which we call our Adventure Playground) that helps us with team building, self-confidence, and physical health. We are very fortunate to have the APG course and we would like to be able to share it with other schools that don't have such things. The money from this race will be used to help other schools to be able to use our course and to fund ongoing maintenance.  "Race Class" is an elective afternoon class that we all chose to take. We are between the ages of 8 and 13. We are so excited to design courses, websites, medals and all the other important things it takes to put on a race. We hope you are able to participate in this one-of-a kind race that we worked so hard to put on.

The race will take you along the beautiful trails of Upland Hills Farm and the scenic trails of Bald Mountain Recreational Area. The trails are dirt with some rolling hills, pasture land, agricultural land, sand, rocks, tree roots, and possibly mud...if it rains! Fun for the entire family! In addition to the 5K/10K/10 Mile distances, there is a fun run (free!) for the youngest children, designed for those up to 8 years old but open to everyone. The Upland Hills Farm will be hosting animals to pet (kittens, sheep, cows, goats... maybe more!). 

Register by April 26th to be guaranteed a shirt. Shirts available after that as supplies last.

The registration table will open at 7:30 am.  All races begin at 8.45am, with wave starts for the different distances separated by a couple of minutes.  10 mile go first, then 10K, then 5K and finally the fun run.  Early bird pricing available until April 10th!  All 5k, 10k and 10 mile registrants receive a technical t-shirt, designed by our students, as part of their registration fee.  You must register by 11:59 pm on April 26th to be guaranteed a shirt.  Additional shirts also available for purchase in our store or at checkout. 

SPECIAL YOUTH PRICING: Youth (18 and under) - $15 entry fee for any event!! Register your youth and the $15 pricing is automatically applied during checkout to anyone aged 18 and under.  Details can be found in the Event Info tab.
