Vets and Pets 5K

The 'Vets & Pets 5k' charity fun run 5K will be held at Shawnee Mission Park again. Just like last year proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and local animal shelters in the Kansas City area.

The first male and female finishers will receive gift card prizes while the first K9 finisher will receive a special prize as well. All participants will receive a race t-shirt (entries that come AFTER 11/10 are subject to shirt availability), complimentary beverages and snacks as well as the opportunity to win prizes provided by race sponsors. Race photos will be provided by photographer Linda Olson. 99.7 the Point will be on location doing promotional giveaways, be sure to stop by and visit them.

Notes: This event is dog friendly. Spaces are limited so grab a friend and sign up today! Shirts will be ordered 3 weeks prior to event so registrations that occur after that date will be subject to availability. Because the run is not timed there will be no packet pick-up, giveaways will be done AT the event itself.
