The start and finish is at the ball field in the Mount Misery section of Pachaug state forest.
The course is a clockwise loop running on a gravel forest road.
The race is on the fire roads in Pachaug State forest (dirt/gravel road).
The race starts with quite a steep hill and then goes down a hill and then relatively flat.
There are loose rocks on the road.
