About the event

Please join us at the 2020 Walk for Hope, a day of fun, entertainment and exercise in support of children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The 11th Annual Walk for Hope raises funds for IBD research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Thank you to all of our participants and sponsors from last year. Your efforts helped us raise over $200,000 for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) is the fastest growing pediatric disease in America. Children's Hospital alone treats over 1,700 children a year who suffer from this very painful and often debilitating disease for which there is no cure. However, the scientists and doctors at the IBD Center at CHOP are giving us hope. Their cutting edge research is developing better treatments and getting us closer to a cure. You can take steps to find a cure with us by participating in either the 5K Walk/Run or the 2K Family Walk. Register as an individual or put your own team together. Or just come out to cheer on the runners and walkers and show your support for the kids and families who live every day with the effects of this disease. There will also be activities for kids and plenty of refreshments after the race. Please help us make this event a success by donating and participating.

Registration begins at 8:00am

Race begins at 10:00am
