Walk for Humanity

April 13, 2019 # 1

The Walk for Humanity Shreveport is a 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile health walk sponsored by The Institute for Global Outreach (IGO). This walk is a community project where people from all walks of life come together to end global suffering. A fundraiser of this nature serves two purposes. It raises funds for the destitute children while raising the consciousness of the participants. It also gives them an opportunity to participate and support a local nonprofit that partners directly with local NGOs in developing countries to alleviate needless suffering in the world. To view our "On the Grounds" work, please watch this 3 minutes video highlighting our work while in Africa a few months ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eh66fo74JI You can also visit our website: www.IGOcares.org
