About the event
The 3rd Annual Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight and 1.5-Mile Fun Walk will be Sat., May 5, 2018. Sponsored by K-State Research and Extension in conjunction with its statewide fitness initiative, Walk Kansas, this 5K is an opportunity for Walk Kansas participants from all over the state to get together and celebrate their wellness efforts and successes, and support Kansas State University's Johnson Cancer Research Center. Run or walk and support a great cause!
Route maps, early packet pick-up and parking info are available on the Johnson Cancer Research Center's website.
Children 7 and under need not register for the walk unless a shirt is wanted (Youth Med - XL only).
A Kids' Fun Run will also be held around 10:10, between the time most people finish the race/fun walk and medals are awarded. This event is free, but we ask people to preregister for planning purposes.

Run or walk 5 kilometers from the Johnson Cancer Research Center and around Bill Snyder Family Stadium. All participants will receive high-quality souvenir water bottles and other goodies, as well as water and post-race snacks. Medals will go to the fastest 3 males and females in each age category.
