About the event
Walk the Course at Sandy Pines Golf Club on May 1st for Kidney Cancer Research. Come enjoy this beautiful 2.5 mile paved course, with hills, and support rare kidney cancer research. All ages are welcome, $25 per person, age 12 & under are free. Gift basket raffle tickets on sale starting at 5:30 pm, raffle winners will be drawn after the walk. Registration is non-refundable, no pets please.
The hosting Kaluf Family will be donating all proceeds from registration and t-shirt sales to Driven To Cure, a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to fund research for HLRCC and other rare kidney cancers.
Dan Kaluf was diagnosed in 2018 with a rare kidney cancer, Hereditary Leiomyomatosis Renal Cell Cancer(HLRCC). Dan continues bi-weekly treatment and testing at NIH in Bethesda Maryland.
