Walnut Grove 5K & Nutty Fun Color Run

Come run and have fun with us at Walnut Grove! We will have a 5K,
Nutty Fun Color Run, rock wall, slide and maze for kids, music,
food, mimosa’s at the model home and much more.

Time:                  5K race begins at 7:30 am
                            Nutty Fun Color Run will begin after runners return

Early Registration for 5K and/ or Nutty Fun Color Run:
Includes a commemorative t-shirt (must pick up on race day)
Pre-registration deadline is October 19th
5K: $20/person
Nutty Fun Color Run (ages 2 and up): $15
$60 maximum for a family of 4 or more

For Kids ages 2 and up (parents are welcome to run with their children)
Nutty Fun Color Run will begin after 5K runners return. No T-shirt will be included when registering after September 30th.

For your convenience, online registration continues from September 30th through October 24th.

Where should I park?

Parking will be on the Walnut Grove property in any parking lot or street within the development that is not blocked. However, the closer to race time the further away you may have to park so keep that in consideration when deciding what time to arrive.

What do I need to know about the Nutty Fun Color Run?

The Nutty Fun Color Run is for kids ages 2 and up that register and any parents who want to run alongside them.

Although the color is washable, you may not want to wear anything you wouldn't want damaged just in case.

Before driving home, take a few minutes to dust off as much dry powder as you can. Take advantage of one of the race fans to cool down while it blows off most of the color. You may want to bring an old towel to cover the car's seats or bring a change of clothes.

Cleaning your hair: Dust any loose powder out of your hair.
Wash your hair as you normally would. It is not uncommon for hints of some of the color to stick around for a few washes.

Just about everything should clean up fine, remove all excess powder before adding water and wash anything used in the Color Run separately, with COLD water. Oxiclean, or a similar product, works wonders we're told.
