Water For People 5K

Join us on April 28th for the 5th annual Water For People 5K Walk/Run in Apex!  The NC AWWA-WEA Water For People committee is hosting a 5K on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the American Tobacco Trail in Apex, NC.  All net proceeds will be donated to Water For People, a non-profit organization that works in 9 countries in Asia, Africa, and South America with the goal of providing complete water coverage in homes, schools, and clinics.

Registration is open now!  After March 31st, registration will increase from $30 to $35 and on-site registration will be available for $35.  In addition to race awards for first place finishers in each age group, each race participant will be entered into a drawing for various door prizes from our race sponsors!   Past door prizes have included tickets to local sporting events, gift baskets from local breweries, and coffee beans from local roasters.  We will also have a prize for the largest team that participates in the race!  Just enter your team name when you register to be qualified.  The race will start at 9 am followed by the awards ceremony at 10 am.  Register for the race here and join us for a great time on a spring morning and to benefit a worthy cause!  Runners, joggers, walkers, pets, and strollers are all welcome!
