Water Run/Walk to Benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield. Sponsored by Partners in Education

The 5K Water Run/Walk welcomes teams and individuals to a fun, "little bit" wet race with Boys & Girls club members tossing water balloons and squirting water, etc... along the designated areas of the course and the finish line. There will be medals for the 5K Run for both youth and adult age groups, as well as some great awards for the teams of runners or walkers with the Most Spirit, Most Members and Raising the Most Money!  Runners and walkers may choose to go in "wet" or "dry" lanes.  This event is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield Partners in Education, and all proceeds will benefit our club members by providing academic support in the way of college scholarships, dual credit courses, ACT and other testing fees, and our Youth of the Year scholarship!  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield is one of the only BG Clubs in the nation that has a Scholarship Director on staff to give support to our club members while in high school and even on into college. We are grateful for all the support that you provide to help make this happen!
