About the event
Whether you're a dedicated runner or just enjoy a jog or walk in the fresh air, WaunaFest Run has something for everyone. Grab your running shoes and join us on Saturday, July 28, 2018 for the 40th Anniversary WaunaFest Run. 10 mile and 5K timed races, 2 Mile Walk and Kiddie Run. Following the race, join fellow runners and walkers for the post run celebration in scenic Waunakee Village Park. Enjoy the award ceremony, live DJ entertainment, food, beer and a weekend of WaunaFest fun!
The WaunaFest Run 10 Mile and 5K are chip timed events. The 2 Mile Walk and Kiddie Run are not timed. The MyLaps BibTag Timing system is used to ensure accurate timing. Your timing tag is on the back of the bib and does not need to be returned after the race. Your time will be posted online the day of the event. Bibs must be picked up at packet pick up/registration.
The race will start on Division St. next to the Waunakee Village Park, by the Waunakee Village Center.
The race ends in the scenic Waunakee Village Park. Maps of the race routes 10M, 5K and 2Mile walk/run available at www.waunafestrun.org.
No refunds will be issued. The event will occur regardless of weather. Registrations can be reassigned with advance notice.

With a blast of a cannon 10 mile runners start on Division Street behind the Village Center, wind through Waunakee's surrounding neighborhoods and business park lined with plenty of water stations and spectators, then loop back to meet the cheers at the finish in the scenic Village Park. Following the race, runners gather in the Park for the post run celebration and award ceremony.
