Wayne Pregnancy Center Run For Life 5K and Fun Run

Ahoy Matey!  Everyday at Wayne Pregnancy Center men and women in our community walk through our doors looking for help during an unplanned pregnancy.  They are scared and unsure of what to do.  We are here offering them compassion, support, free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, accurate information for all their pregnancy options and the love of Jesus.  We could not continue to provide these free and confidential services without you....... Put on your best Pirate attire and join us for our 4th Annual 5k Run for LIFE & 1 Mile Treasure Trot. Help us plunder the enemy for LIFE....ARGH!

COURSES

The 5k race course is USATF certified course that takes runners along tree-lined neighborhood streets and alongside the fairways of the golf course in the middle of a planned residential community known as the Village of Walnut Creek in eastern North Carolina.  The Fun Walk is approximately 1 mile. 

TIMING AND SCORING

Provided by Run the East, with shoe chips.  Results will be announced shortly after the last finishers, and on the internet later at www.runtheeast.com.

MEDALS

To the top 3 Male and Female Overall 5k Runners in each age category listed below: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

PRIZES

Amazing Prize Packages to the top 3 $ Raising Adults and the Top 3 $ Raising Youth (12 & under).   A Trophy for the Top $ Raising Team.

FOOD AND DRINKS

A Food and Drink Recovery station will be provided to all 5k Runners.  Water will be  provided for all Walkers.
