Wedge Run 10k

Join the Asheville Running Collective in celebrating ten years of Wedge Brewing with a flat and fast 10k. Start and finish at the Foundation on this certified out-and-back course.  We would like to encourage you to bring and run with your family.  We are offering a 40% discount for youth runners 17 years old and under as well as a kids run within the Foundation area for only $5.  Save an additional $5 off of the 10k if you register before February 15th.  Every entrant over 21 years of age will also receive a free beer courtesy of Wedge Brewing and a high quality ARC-approved t-shirt.  

Awards
There will be awards for the top 3 open and masters men and women as well as awards for the top 3 in each age group. More details to come.  

Benefitting Local Non-Profit Organizations
This event benefits two local non-profit organizations - the Asheville Running Collective and Girls on the Run WNC. The Asheville Running Collective, a 501(c)3 running club focused on growing the sport of competitive distance running in Western North Carolina, has partnered with Girls on the Run's SoleMates program to raise scholarship money for young runners in WNC.

Kids Run
A kids run will take place on the Foundation property following the 10k road race. This 2-loop mile race will be spectator friendly and open to kids of all ages. This event will be free for Girls on the Run participants.
