West Paterson Volunteer Fire Department 5K

The 4th Annual West Paterson Department 5k will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 10:00 am. This year we added a 1-mile fun walk immediately following the 5K so the whole family can participate. All 5k participants are automatically entered for the 1 mile walk. Whether you are a competitive runner, participating in your first 5K, or walking or running at your own pace, this race is fast and mostly flat so suitable for all ages! Trophies will be awarded to the top overall 3 males/females. Medals awarded to the top 3 M/F in their age group, top 3 emergency responders, and top 3 military veterans. Free t-shirt to the first 200 participants.

All proceeds raised from this event will assist our three fire companies in their endeavor to continue with the upkeep of their firehouses. Please understand that all three firehouses within our volunteer fire department are independently owned and operated by each individual fire company and not by the Borough of Woodland Park. As prices in services continue to rise it is becoming more and more difficult for our companies to maintain the buildings as rapidly as they should be. We thank you for your support!
